When the sun is out and there are editorial/travel-style photos to be taken, it can only mean one thing….Kodak Ektar. Every time I shoot this film in these conditions it astounds me; the colours are incredible. This is the first time I’ve shot Ektar through my Pentax 67ii and in my view it’s a match made in heaven – the quality of this film in this format is amazing. I also had a roll of expired Kodak Portra 400VC with me, so I shot that too for an interesting comparison. I really like it but I think it’s out-shined by the Ektar in these conditions. Anyway, here are the shots I took at Chatsworth House – one of my favourite places to visit not least because there’s always something different to photograph each time I go. Dev/scan UK Film Lab.
